Obetia carruthersiana, also known as Angola tree nettel
is a rare namibian tree, growing on rocky outcrops. Here you can see some adult trees, growing in front of the Quartzberg cave. Note close ups of flower heads and stinging hairs - which are quite painful if touched ! |
